Dion, 55, who has been in the music industry for decades, expressed her huge disappointment at not being able to perform for her fans as planned.

“I am so sorry to disappoint you all once again. I’m working hard to get my strength back, but touring can be tough even when you’re 100%,” Dion wrote.

The “I’m Alive” singer added: “It’s not fair to you to keep postponing shows and although it breaks my heart, we have to cancel everything now until I’m ready to get back on stage.”

The “Touched By An Angel” singer revealed in December 2022 that after repeatedly postponing her tour, she had been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a rare neurological disorder.

Stiff person syndrome is a sporadic neurological disorder affecting the central nervous system. It is characterized by episodes of muscle stiffness and spasms that can be debilitating and often painful. These spasms can occur in different parts of the body, including the limbs and trunk, and can be triggered by emotional distress or sudden movements.

The news of Dion’s diagnosis shocked her fans worldwide Instagram to reveal in an emotional video.

“I’ve struggled with my health for a long time and it’s been hard for me to face these challenges and talk about everything I’ve been through,” she said.
