“Just Hold Your Place”
Bruce’s wife Emma asked paparazzi to keep their distance when they see the 67-year-old actor in public.
Taking to Instagram to appeal his dementia diagnosis, he recounted an incident when photographers accosted Bruce while he was out with friends in Santa Monica.
“This is for photographers and videographers trying to get my husband’s exclusive creations out. Just stay put,” Emma said as she filmed herself in the kitchen of her home.
“I know it’s your job, but maybe just stay put,” he added. “Please don’t yell at my husband or ask how he’s doing, anything.” Woo-hooing and yippee-ki-yay – just don’t do it. Give him space. Let’s allow our family or whoever is with him that day to get him from point A to point B safely. This is my PSA.”
Emma Willis on Dementia

In the video, Emma previously shared that it’s not easy to care for someone with dementia and lamented the lack of awareness of the disease in today’s society.
“If you care for someone with dementia, you know how difficult and stressful it can be to bring someone into the world and navigate them safely, even just for a cup of coffee,” she said. “Clearly, there’s still a lot of education worth appreciating.”
In the caption of the clip, CocoBaba’s founder asked caregivers or dementia professionals to give tips to people diagnosed with dementia to adapt to society.
“For other caregivers or dementia professionals navigating this world… Do you have any tips or advice on how to safely bring your loved one into the world? Please share below.”

The fan said: “The routines are great. The morning walk can be every morning, so it becomes a task and part of the routine. AZ and dementia patients need routine in their lives, which helped my mother.”
Health status of Bruce Willis

In March 2022, Bruce’s family disclosed the actor’s diagnosis of aphasia, a language disorder caused by brain damage that impairs communication. The announcement also revealed that Bruce is retiring from acting.
“This is a truly challenging time for our family and we are so grateful for the continued love, compassion and support,” the statement read.. “We’re going through this as a strong family unit and we wanted to get his fans involved because we know how much he means to you, as you mean to him. As Bruce always says, ‘Live it up,’ and that’s what we plan to do together.”
At the beginning of the month, the family gave me one update about the actor’s condition, sharing that his aphasia has progressed to frontotemporal dementia.
