On April 12, the Vogue cover girl passed away Instagram to repost the Nickelodeon alum’s TikTok video of her body. Following the “Sam & Cat” star’s now-viral post, Hadid addressed the situation with an inspirational message to her followers.

Tagging @arianagrande alongside a white heart emoji, the 26-year-old began her caption: “You never know what someone is dealing with mentally or physically. Illness or depression. Grief or heartache. You don’t know and you’ll never know until you spend a day in their shoes.”

The media personality urged fans to be kind enough to express their concerns about someone instead of commenting on a matter they don’t understand. “Instead of unsolicited advice or opinions, judgment or aggression, just try to lend a helping hand and be kind,” the model continued.

“There’s always a reason for the way people look/feel, so try to be gentle, especially if you don’t know someone or know someone or what they’ve been through,” the Washington native explained, noting that people don’t they are free to make assumptions through a person’s social media profile.

Grande revealed that she was heavily dependent on anti-depressants and alcohol while eating badly, a period she called the “low point” of her life. Although the host was reluctant to share those dark moments, she noted that “something good can come” from being open and vulnerable.

The “Don’t Look Up” actress asked fans not to judge a book by its cover: “healthy can look different.” According to the multi-hyphenated star, even if fans’ concerns come from a loving place, they should be careful with their words.
