The 26-year-old supermodel took to social media to share her personal journey following reports of her split from boyfriend Marc Kalman.

Hadid’s split from Kalman comes amid her struggle with Lyme disease and the challenges she faced as she recently took a “medical leave” to attend to it.

In her heartfelt Instagram post, Hadid noted that she has successfully stayed away from alcohol almost ten months. Hadid wrote, “I’m so proud of anyone pushing through dry July. With Kin and lots of self-love, I am almost 10 months no alcohol.”

She added, “I’m so proud of anyone discovering their sobriety or anyone who has had the courage to open their mind to Dry July!”

According to Entertainment Tonight, a source noted that their relationship simply “ran its course” and the split was seemingly mutual.

The source shared, “They were very in love, but the relationship ultimately ran its course and they decided to end things. Bella is a very nice person, but struggles with the pressures of fame.”

Following the news of her split from boyfriend Kalman, Hadid reportedly took a step towards prioritizing her health and well-being as she went on a “medical leave” to attend to her ongoing battle with Lyme disease, according to ET.

A source who spoke to the news outlet revealed that the model, at the time, was being treated daily for her Lyme disease as against reports of her admission into rehab.

“Bella Hadid is in daily treatment for Lyme disease,” the source said. “Nine months ago, Bella decided she wanted to stop drinking, so she stopped. She has been sober for nine months and has never had an alcohol or drug problem. Bella is not in rehab.”
