Armie Hammer opens up about cannibalism and sexual assault allegations

Hollywood actor Armie Hammer finally opens for the first time since he was accused of cannibalism and sexual assault. The actor eventually responded to the allegations and denied any criminal liability, only admitting that he had emotionally abused her.

It’s been more than two years since the wild allegations against actor Armie Hammer were made public, and he’s finally sharing his side of the story. Hammer addressed the multiple allegations in an interview Air Mail, grayling The Hollywood Reporter.

In the interview, the 36-year-old opened up about the sexual abuse allegations and denied any wrongdoing. However, Hammer admitted that he was “emotionally abusive” to several of his former partners.

The “Social Network” star also revealed that after the allegations came to light, he attempted suicide by drowning himself in the ocean. He said: “I just walked out into the ocean and swam out as far as I could and hoped that I would either drown or get hit by a boat or get eaten by a shark. Then I realized my kids were still on the beach and I couldn’t do that to my kids.”

Allegations of cannibalism and sexual abuse were first made public in January 2021, and included several screenshots of Hammer’s conversations with several women. The screenshots showed him making strange messages that suggested he wanted to consume women’s blood and flesh.

Subsequently, several women accused Hammer of sexual misconduct and sexual and emotional abuse, which quickly spread. He immediately denied all accusations, but was soon dropped by his talent agency and personal publicist.

She said: “It was, for me, introducing sexuality into my life in a way that was completely out of my control. I was helpless in this situation. I had no agency in this situation. Sexuality was introduced to me in a scary way where I couldn’t control it. My interest after that was: I want to control the situation, sexually.”

The actor admitted that the power dynamic in his relationships with both women was “broken” and said he was “one million percent” emotionally abusive to them. Referring to the significant age difference between her and several women, she said she knew there was a “power imbalance in the situation”.
