“This past week has been, I think, the hardest week of my life, and it’s been hard … it’s been hard to understand and process and help two kids process what’s going on in our lives.he recalled. “On the 17thth it was the date of my parents’ report and I never in a million years thought I’d be talking about both of my parents, let alone both, going to a federal prison. Her younger brother, Grayson Chrisley, whom she has custody of, “broke down” after his parents were admitted.

“Gray is broken and trying to process my parents and the situation they’re in and that’s not the image he wants of them,” the 25-year-old explained. “Grayson is 16, (and) he’s growing so much right now, and it breaks my heart to know my parents are going to be left out of this.”

Both Todd and Julie have maintained their innocence and plan to appeal in February.

“I had to figure out how to rebuild, and I feel like we’re getting there at least a little bit,” Savannah said of her family’s situation.

Savannah recently visited both her parents and claimed the experience “gave me hope and peace.”

“I’ve never felt the presence of Jesus more than I did in that room,” he said, before adding that some people in the room were misunderstood.
