Attorneys for the Tate brothers released a statement on Feb. 21street court appearance.
“If the solution is unfavorable, we will certainly attack it,” said Eugen Vidineac. “If we analyzed and reanalyzed the evidence recorded in the case up to this point, today we insisted that the reasons that existed when the preventive arrest was made have ceased to exist, have ceased to exist. By the effectiveness of the defense, we are saying that we have practically paralyzed the evidence used in the case so far, so the reasons have ceased, and the new reasons are unlikely to lead to the extension of the measure of preventive detention.”
It is understood that the statement was made before the court remanded the Tate brothers in custody for another 30 days.
