Abby Lee Miller recently stated that the convicted reality star, Todd Chrisley, he couldn’t “bear” prison because of how classy he is. The real estate mogul and TV personality was sentenced to 12 years in prison in January.
Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, were found guilty in 2022 of tax evasion and bank fraud offenses. Miller, who previously served more than seven months behind bars, spoke from experience about Chrisley’s sentence.
She recounted her experiences as a celebrity in prison, including sharing toiletries. Before the pair began their sentences, Miller wished them well.

In an interview Fun tonightthe “Dance Moms” choreographer revealed how she felt about Todd being behind bars. He explained that celebrities have a hard time adapting their sentences and cited his own experience as an example.
The 57-year-old spent eight months and a few weeks in 2017 and 2018 after being found guilty of a similar charge in bankruptcy proceedings. Miller noted that Todd would have a hard time fitting in with the other inmates because he is “very Bougie.”
The 53-year-old confirmed this when he noted on ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ that he spends $300,000 a year on clothes. During the interview, Miller said per Insider“You won’t be able to handle things like soap and towels.”
Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted of fraud
Miller’s comments about Todd came after he and his wife began their prison terms in January. In June, Todd and Julie were convicted of several tax crimes, including attempting to defraud the IRS. The couple were also found guilty of conspiring to defraud banks of at least $30 million.
After months of waiting for a verdict, Todd and Julie were sentenced to 12, 7 years and 16 months of strict supervision, respectively. The couple’s former accountant, Peter Tarantino, was also found guilty of conspiracy to defraud the IRS and filing fraudulent tax returns.
Todd is serving 12 years at the Pensacola Federal Penitentiary in Florida, while Julie is serving just seven years at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Miller addressed the challenges celebrities can face in prison and recounted her time behind bars. The former ALDC owner explained that people were reluctant to show him around. He said lawsuit Insider, “When I went in, nobody wanted to come to the front to catch me. Some volunteers come and do tours and everything.”
He also noted that it was difficult to make friends or get people to talk to him. “No one came except my dear friend Michelle, who I still talk to at least once a week.” Despite these problems, he found his way through prison, and he believes Todd will too. Miller said: “I think he’s going to make some trades. There is a way to survive in there.”

Miller recalled reaching out to Todd to wish him well before he and Julie began their sentence. They exchanged messages about the situation via Instagram and bonded over the experience. Telling how it went, Miller noted that he told her to take care of herself because it was going to feel weird at first. “I said, ‘Be careful,'” Miller said.
Todd left a message for fans on an episode of his podcast in June 2022. At the time, the star was impressed by the trial, expressing how grateful she was for their “messages,” “flower arrangements,” “emails,” and “gifts.”
A month later, in July, Todd revealed on his podcast:Chrisley’s testimony“that he will miss his wife very much. The reality star explained that their marriage has grown stronger since the trial began and that she would not have been able to make it this far without him.
