A$AP Rocky says he’s “excited” about Rihanna’s comeback
RihannaIt seems that fans are not the only ones waiting for the artist’s return to music. The “Diamonds” singer last graced her fans with an album in 2016, and since then she’s been largely silent musically, focusing instead on her wildly successful Fenty Beauty beauty brand.
While her efforts in the business world have clearly paid off, Rihanna is preparing to relaunch her music career and who else is stirring it up than her partner and the father of her child, A$AP Rocky. The duo has been romantically linked since the beginning of 2020, although they worked together on several hits in previous years.
Ahead of February’s Super Bowl halftime performance, Rocky revealed that he’s proud of Rihanna and can’t wait to see what she’s up to.

ASAP Rocky is happy to see Rihanna return to music
Speaking to Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe, Rocky talked about his “lady” Rihanna and how proud he was to return to music after nearly a decade away from the scene. The “Love On The Brain” singer will headline the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show in February. This will be his first show in years.
Based on People Magazine, Rocky said, “I’m really excited. This is so huge. This is incredible. I’m so happy that my lady is back in music and stuff and she’s out again… It’s just unbelievable.”
The artist further admitted that the NFL stage was “massive” and that he was more likely to be waiting for Rihanna to perform than her eager fans. Rocky said, “Because he’s the creative, he’s gonna get it, man.” I’m excited. Honestly, I’m more excited than anyone.”

Rocky also noted that the year is already shaping up to be good for both of them and they intend to be more active as it goes on. “Especially for both of us, it’s a good year to be more active and be outside,” the rapper said. Rocky recently released a single called ‘Same Problems?’ with title.
It has yet to be seen or announced if the “Praise the Lord” rapper will join Rihanna on stage at the Halftime show. Meanwhile, the mother of one recently gave a glimpse of what fans can expect her to look like during the much-anticipated performance.
The “Umbrella” hunk shared a post of himself in the spotlight in a chartreuse jacket, black bodysuit and some jewelry. Along with the stunning visuals, the clip’s audio seemed to echo the cries of fans over the years when the singer was asked to perform. Statements like “RiRi, where have you been?!” and dude, Rihanna, we’ve been waiting for you,” it reads.
Rihanna’s last album was released in 2016
Before her recent contribution to the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” tracklist, Rihanna last released music in 2016. “Anti” was his eighth studio album and one of his most praised. It had many hits like “Work”, “Love on the Brain”, “Kiss It Better”, “Needed Me” and others.
The artist is reportedly gearing up to release her ninth studio album after spending the past seven years juggling her Fenty Beauty brands and her love life with Rocky. By the way, the rapper has not released an album since 2018’s “Testing”; however, he is said to be working alone now.
The couple welcomed their first child in May 2022 after announcing their relationship in 2020. Prior to that, they had a long friendship dating back to 2012 when they released Cockiness.
ASAP Rocky says he loves being a dad
In a recent interview with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe, Rocky shed some light on his new fatherhood and how much he’s been enjoying it. The rapper revealed that he is grateful for the opportunity to become a father. He also said that fatherhood has given him a “whole new perspective” on many aspects of his life.
“I can’t even explain it, man.” You come home to heaven every day. I am very grateful. God is good, man, Rocky said. “This is just one of those. I am now a member of our club, like the fathers club. You see a father, you see me… Now I am a complete father.”
“Being out and working and being creative gives you more energy to think obviously and soak things up like a sponge now that I’m a dad because I have a whole different perspective,” he continued.
