A young woman was almost the victim of a murder in Gilgo Beach

Gilgo Beach Murder Suspect Rex Heuermann On The Hunt?

The young woman shared the crazy story of her run-in with suspected killer Rex Heuermann, and played the creepy voicemail he left her after they lost touch.

Vidal appeared distraught, but insisted that he and his friend were “not surprised” to hear that their former network acquaintance was a suspect in the murder. She met the architect when they were members of a networking group.

Through these events, she “got to know him” and said, “Now I can say that me and my friend are not surprised that he is a serial killer.” He pointed out some oddities about the alleged killers of three women.

“Just everything about him, his mannerisms, how full of himself he was, how weird he was, he was always sweating a lot, he wasn’t very nice to talk to and he was creepy,” she said. “We’re not surprised, we’re shocked.”

Dominique Michelle Vidal received a creepy call

Vidal also played a voicemail message that Heuermann had left for him long after the two had interacted and were no longer part of the network group. He found the call odd and the long voicemail even more suspicious.

“I found it strange that he called me, he didn’t have a job for me, I didn’t have a job for him, there was no ongoing relationship, it was just the two of us who happened to be in the same networking group,” he says with a shocked expression.

“There’s nothing incredibly scary about the voicemail, other than the fact that he’s the Gilgo Beach killer,” he admits.

In the voicemail, he says he was reaching because he “wanted to touch base.” As the message continues, he says, “If you get the chance, you can always find me in the office or feel free to use my cell. I hope you are well, I hope to talk to you soon.”

Rex Heuermann talked A LOT about himself!

Vidal also shared that he talked to Heuermann at bars and other establishments after the group’s official networking meetings were over, and he was kind of cocky. He talked a lot about himself, and when I finally asked him about his hobbies, he said he was a fan of true crime podcasts.

“I’m not making this up at all.” I am so shocked that I have to share this with someone, all over TikTok. He asks if I know about the Gilgo Beach murders, and of course I do,” admits Vidal. “He goes on to tell me, ‘This is a serial killer who has never been caught in my hometown, where I live. He says the guy killed 10 people and could still be out there.

Remember, Heuermann is only on the hook for the murders of three women so far. Vidal joked to break the awkward air: “You never know who you’re talking to,” he continued. “He might be a serial killer,” and Heuermann laughed.

Rex Heuermann is the prime suspect

The now-disgraced Architect is accused of being a serial killer who has been tipping off the police since the mid-2000s. Three women were linked to the Gilgo Beach serial killer, Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman and Amber Costello.

The main suspect, Heuermann, was linked to those three women and another Maureen Brainard-Barnes, changing his name association to the “Gilgo Four”. So far, Heuermann’s defense attorney has responded:

“I tell you folks that this is of an extremely circumstantial nature. As far as talking to my client, the only thing I can say is that she tearfully said “I didn’t do this”.
