A new Pixar-themed series is coming to the Disney Nighttime Show

Disneyland Guests can expect something new Pixar themed pre-showsoon Disney California Adventurethe night show “World of colors – ONE”.

The new pre-show introduces Disney and Pixar’s upcoming film, “Elementary”which hits theaters later this month.

“Elemental” is coming to “World Of Color – ONE”.

Disney announced that on June 2, 2023, a new pre-show inspired by Pixar’s upcoming film ‘Elemental’ will debut before the nighttime show ‘World of Color – ONE’ at Disney California Adventure.

“Brilliant projections dance across massive water screens in this two-minute trailer, bringing to life the land, air, water and fire inhabitants of Element City,” Disney announced. “In this heartfelt story, fire element Ember and water element Wade discover that even though the world tells them they can’t live together, they’re more alike than they think. As whimsical fountains and powerful music fill Paradise Bay, you’ll find that stepping out of the element can help you reveal who you really are, just like Ember and Wade.”

Dubbed “Elemental Connection,” the pre-show will introduce the story and cast of Pixar’s upcoming film “Elemental,” although an exact running time has not been announced.

Disneyland circumscribes the show: “It only takes one wave to make a huge impact. After all, a wave can generate a wave – and a wave can generate an ocean of change. Many Disney and Pixar characters dared to make waves and change their world for the better. In ‘World of Color – ONE’, their stories take center stage – unfolding amid a breathtaking mix of dancing water and incredible special effects.

Some of the movies that guests can see during the show include ‘Moana’, ‘Soul’ and ‘The Lion King’. Per Disney: “‘World of Color – ONE’ celebrates the rich storytelling legacy that Walt Disney began a century ago, bringing to life spectacular moments from beloved films such as ‘The Lion King,’ ‘Moana,’ ‘Ratatouille,’ ‘Soul ”, “Star Wars”, “The Avengers” and many more. Experience the first world of color featuring characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Star Wars and more!

What is “elementary”?

Pixar’s new film “Elemental” will follow the four elements – Fire, Water, Earth and Air – as they live together in Elemental City.

The official Disney description is as follows:

Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental” is an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, where the inhabitants of fire, water, land and air live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman whose friendship with a cheerful, gentle, good-natured guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world.

The film stars Leah Lewis (The Half) as Ember Lumen, Mamoudou Athie (Jurassic World Dominion) as Wade Ripple, Ronnie del Carmen (Inside Out) as Bernie Lumen, Shila Ommi as Cinder Lumen, Wendi. McLendon-Covey (“The Goldbergs”) as Gale, Catherine O’Hara (“Home Alone”) as Brook Ripple, Matt Yang King (“Sightless”) as Alan Ripple, Joe Pera (“F Is For Family”) as Fern Grouchwood and Mason Wertheimer as Clod and directed by Peter Sohn, who previously directed Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur.
